  • Dark-coloured, globular body: 9.5-14 mm in size.
  • They can bite if mishandled or provoked.
  • Symptoms include swelling, blistering, irritated skin, feverishness and severe allergic reaction.
  • Many London schools and hospitals have reported infestations but you are just as likely to find them in garden outbuildings.
