Bird Spikes & Sprung Wire Systems: Effective in deterring pigeons and larger birds, they are commonly used on parapet walls, ledges, roof lines, windowsills, signage and other narrow surfaces that birds land on.

Bird netting: This excludes birds from open areas and is vital in protecting equipment such as air conditioning units. A very successful deterrent, it’s important that bird netting is professionally installed because birds take advantage of a poorly hung net. Birds will fly out through the Bird-Scape but cannot get back in.

Bird Scaring Systems: audio systems that mimic the pest bird in distress so that the flock is under the impression that a predator has caught one of them. They can also mimic the sound of a predator again scaring the pest birds into flight. The systems that we use are considerate of the environment because they are played at a natural volume.

Trapping and shooting: Sometimes the extent of the pigeon problem is such that trapping and shooting is needed to bring the problem under control. It’s most effective however when used in combination with other preventative treatments such as netting and spiking and as such is only a short-term solution to a potentially long-term problem.
