London Property Management Companies Facing Flack From Flat Owners

An increase in the rodent population in the Greater London area has led to a growing number of complaints from tenants and flat owners living in the Capital.

Flower beds, bin stores, communal areas, even car parks and courtyards are all havens for rats and mice to make their home and it's nigh on impossible to budge them using over-the-counter treatments.  Said Charlotte Luttman from Dyno-Pest,"

Getting rid of one family of rats is insufficient.  Another family will simply occupy the surrounding area.  And with so many current building works in the London area, rodents are now entering premises that have never had a problem with pests before."  Dyno-Pest works closely with many of the leading Property Management companies in the Capital, identifying the harbourage sites of rodents and putting in place treatment programmes to either eradicate or manage the problem.  "Preventative measures are fundamental in all of the external areas" says Charlotte, "Starting with a perimeter defence of tamper proof bait stations.  And of course, we have to determine how mice and rats are gaining entry into the building.  Most frequently this is around pipework.  It's important that Property Management companies include the cost of a pest management and pest prevention service in their rental package to tenants. It’s no longer an optional expense, but an essential investment."
