Screen on Sub-Frame

Protruding handles can be a problem when fitting insect screens to the rear of PVCu, aluminium and metal casement windows.

To overcome this a sub-frame is made from a solid plastic extrusion, the frame is secured to the back of the window, the fly/insect screen is attached to the face of the sub-frame by hinges of turn buttons.

Each fly/insect screen has a built in nylon brush pile in the back that crushes against the sub-frame to form the perfect seal for protection against flies, bees, wasps, midges and other flying insects.

Window screens can be made to open horizontally or vertically. Screens and plastic sub-frames are available in White or Brown.
